In what could be the least polluted Diwali in five years in all of western India, System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR) has forecast that the city’s pollution levels are expected to remain in the lower end of the moderate category. The continued rain and influence of Cyclone Kyarr in Arabian Sea will help keep additional pollutants from firecrackers in check.
