30-40% women opting for IVF take baby home

The success of IVF is measured by two criteria: one, the number of women who conceive successfully and second, the carry-home baby rate. While overall success of IVF resulting in live birth is said to be 40-50%, the carry-home baby rate is not more than 30-40%, pointed out experts.
