Bengaluru Traffic Police records show road accidents and road-related fatalities in the city were at their lowest in a decade in 2018. While the number of accidents reduced from 6,875 in 2009 to 5,064 in 2017, the dip became sharper this year: only 4,172 accidents were reported in the city till November.
