TISS students say no to fines, council steps in

Eighteen students from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), who were told to pay a fine of Rs 1,000 each for staging a protest in March, refused to pay it on Thursday, the last day for doing so. But the students’ council reached out to students and alumni to raise funds.
