Amulya Leona Noronha, 19, who was arrested on Thursday for raising pro-Pakistan slogans in Bengaluru, has told police that, in her speech, she had wanted to compare the silence that greets her reference to the neighbouring country with the applause that follows ‘Hindustan zindabad’ but she her speech was cut short and she was whisked away.
