'Smartcard fare hike will increase road traffic'

With Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) set to slash fare discount for smartcard users from 15% to 5% from Monday, experts and passengers have urged Metro authorities to focus on non-fare box (non-ticketing) revenue instead of burdening commuters.
