Mumbai: Mom booked for killing newborn daughter

A day after a 22-year-old woman allegedly flung her newborn daughter to death from the bathroom window of her 17th floor flat in Kandivli, the police booked the mother on murder charges on Friday. She allegedly told the police that she took the drastic step as she could not afford to raise a third child.
