Girl run over by drunk driver, dragged for metres

A 19-year-old woman died after she was hit by a car that was being driven by a man who was allegedly drunk. The woman, Archana Nathu-Parthe, a resident of Chunabhatti in central Mumbai, was walking along the edge of a bylane with her friends around 8.30 pm on Friday when she was knocked by the car. Three friends who were in the car have been arrested.
