Funds crunch has BMC worried about big projects

The BMC administration has flagged off concerns about an impending fund crunch to the state government. Octroi, the BMC’s biggest money-spinner, brought in over Rs 7,000 crore annually before it was scrapped a couple of years ago with the introduction of GST.
