344 trees to be cut right under Matoshree’s nose

Residents of Gandhi Nagar in Bandra (East), which nestles Kala Nagar, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s fortified residence of Matoshree as also leafy apartments in the vicinity, are up in arms over the BMC’s latest decision to fell 344 trees to make way for the MMRDA-backed Metro 2-B project.
