Two on bike fall off Thane flyover, rider dies

A biker and one of his two pillion riders fell off a flyover and landed on the road, about 25 feet below, in Thane early on Saturday. The rider, Chandan Singh (19), died while pillion rider Neelam Jaiswal (18) has been admitted to the state-run JJ Hospital in Byculla with head injuries. The other pillion rider, Poonam Jaiswal (22), who fell on the flyover itself has suffered minor injuries.
