Mahim police questioned the “character” of a 25-year-old woman employed with a reputed television channel when she went to register a case of threat by a food delivery boy who barged into her flat in the early hours of Sunday and fled with a Rs 100 note. Police registered a non-cognizable (NC) offence “instead of a first information report (FIR) in the case, alleging a 12-hour delay in approaching them”.
