Cops: Karnataka boy ended life as he was unable to get into reality show

A 19-year-old BCom student who committed suicide by hanging himself in a hotel room in Hoskote town on Wednesday night took the extreme step because he was allegedly upset at not being selected for a comedy-based TV reality show, his grandfather and friends told police.
