Hefty traffic fines from today; no mobile calls while driving

You could end up paying Rs 1,000 or more for chatting on the mobile phone while driving as revised traffic fines come into effect from Saturday. Traffic police say while chatting on the phone using headphones or bluetooth sets will invite penalty, there is a relaxation for using the phone for navigation.
