Boy swept off Marine Drive, man tries to save him and drowns too

A child was swept into sea from Marine Drive and a 22-year-old man who jumped in to try and save him drowned on Saturday afternoon. The sea was turbulent, throwing up massive waves as there was a high tide of 4.74m at 2.52pm, said people on the promenade.
