Month after pancreatic transplant in Mumbai, patient grapples with steep bills

Dombivli resident Priyanka Digamber carries the unique distinction of being the first patient with Type I diabetes to undergo a pancreatic transplant in Mumbai. On Saturday, on completing a month since the transplant, Priyanka said her recovery has been fraught with infections as well as stress about mounting bills.
