BEST to slash all bus fares in Mumbai

Commuting by BEST buses could soon get a lot cheaper. The transport undertaking has come up with a draft for fare reduction according to which the minimum fare for travel by an ordinary bus will be Rs 5 for a distance of 5km (down from Rs 15), while the minimum AC bus fare will be Rs 6 (a huge drop from Rs 30).
