Rly cops rescue teen waiting to jump before train

Like every night, BN Kuberappa, inspector with Railway Protection Force, Tumakuru, was patrolling the platforms of the railway station on Wednesday. Around 11.30pm, he spotted a teenager standing at the edge of the platform. Kuberappa, who has served for more than 20 years in the railways, guessed from the boy’s body language that he was not a passenger.
