Peter's bail plea: CBI can file reply by May 6

The Bombay high court on Tuesday gave the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) time to file a reply to a bail plea filed by Peter Mukerjea, the 63 year-old ex media honcho facing trial as a co-accused in the Sheena Bora murder case and adjourned its hearing to May 6. Peter has applied for bail, both on merits of the case and on more immediately on medical grounds, as he had undergone a bypass surgery a month ago for a complete blockage of a main artery and few other major blockages, but was sent back to Arthur Road prison last week.
