'50% convicts in Karnataka jails aged 18-30 yrs'

Karnataka had the third highest incidence of youngsters landing behind bars in 2016 and a whopping 50.7% of the convicts in the state’s jails were in the age group of 18-30 years. This is as per Prison Statistics in India 2016, an annual report released recently by the National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB).
