External agency to audit Metro Phase 1 structures

Under fire for the structural flaw in a viaduct near Trinity station, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has decided to rope in an external agency to conduct a quality audit of Metro Phase 1 civil structures from January. Services between MG Road and Indiranagar stations are likely to resume by Tuesday afternoon, the corporation announced.
