Airport bins analysis: Food firm saves Rs 1.2cr

Gaurav Dewan, COO and business head, Travel Food Services (TFS) rummaged through the dustbin of GVK lounge at Mumbai airport that led him to saving Rs 1.2 crore by figuring out that the reason bins overflowed was not because the food tasted bad but because the size of the serving was too large.
