Accused freed as grandma says victim lied

A division bench of justices Ranjit More and Bharati Dangre quashed the first information report and ordered the release of the accused. The elderly woman revealed that the accused was allegedly having an affair with the minor girl's mother which had incensed her father. The father then asked his daughter to concoct the story of sexual assault that eventually led to the arrest.
