Woman who lost gold on train to get Rs 4.5L

South Western Railway (SWR) has been ordered by a city consumer court to pay over Rs 4.47 lakh to a woman passenger who accused the utility of failing to protect her belongings from thieves. An unidentified person fled with her handbag containing gold jewellery and cash when she and her family were on a train from Bengaluru to Rajasthan in 2014.
