Rape accused flees Bhondsi jail in garbage vehicle

Amit Kumar alias Deepu, an undertrial in a case of rape and abduction, was lodged in the high-security Bhondsi jail under since September 15. He was staying in the barrack No. 3B and was supposed to appear for the next hearing on September 29 but the 22-year-old got into a tractor carrying garbage, hid under the trash and fled the jail.
