Plumber’s kidnap leads to unclaimed Rs 1.5cr

A plumber and a housekeeping manager could well have got away with Rs 1.5 crore cash they found in Mantri Greens Apartment in Malleswaram in August 2017. But their plot came unstuck when the plumber was kidnapped by men posing as police officials in front of Vidhana Soudha last month and they tried to extort money from him. And two men nabbed in an unrelated robbery confessed to the kidnapping.
