I got scared as he had a gun: JNU's Umar Khalid

JNU research scholar Umar Khalid who had a narrow escape yesterday says he got scared "because I noticed that the man had a gun". In an incident being seen as a major breach of security ahead of I-Day, an unidentified assailant allegedly tried to shoot Khalid from point-blank range at the Constitution Club of India on Monday afternoon. The pistol apparently jammed as the assailant pulled the trigger and no shot was fired.
