8km Chord Road to go signal free next year

In a relief to commuters, Chord Road, west Bengaluru’s crucial 8km corridor, will go signal-free by next year. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), which has been decongesting traffic intersections along the road since it began the project in March 2016, has built grade separators in most points and the remaining will be completed by next year.
